UTG: t2725 45.42 BBs
UTG+1: t1640 27.33 BBs
MP: t2420 40.33 BBs
Hero (CO): t1580 26.33 BBs
BTN: t3045 50.75 BBs
SB: t515 8.58 BBs

Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is CO with T 9
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t60, 1 fold, Hero calls t60, BTN calls t60, 1 fold, BB checks

Flop: (t270) 9 T 2 (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, BTN bets t270, BB calls t270, UTG+1 calls t270

Now, my question is, do I just call here and see the turn to see if it's safe (had seen button bet a straight draw this strongly previously, maniacs tricky, fear a suckout) or do I put in a strong raise/shove to get my chips in here??

I'm still learning, could really use the help.

If it is versus maniacs get as much money into the pot as you possibly can

You are way ahead of their expected holdings

You should shove and pray u dont get unlucky/Rivered

If you think that a villain with a ST8 draw will call your check/shove here then by all means do it, you are a 70/30 favorite.

1) what makes you think that the BTN will bet out if you check? It's a limped pot and no one has the initiative, so if you want to collect value for your hand you really have to do it yourself.

2) your hand is strong but it's vulnerable. If a J/Q/K/A falls on the turn someone could very easily have better two pair or a straight, a large part of a person's limping range is broadway hands. So your hand really isn't strong enough to "slowplay".

You're right, I should have just bet it, because a Q did beat me on the turn.

Slowplaying too much is one big leak of most inexperienced players. there are times to slowplay a hand like this but this is not one of those times. First of all its a 4-way pot and a draw heavy flop. As played you got what you wanted the button bet out so stick it in.
