$2 NL HE Deep Stacked: TT shove?

Blinds are 200/400 A:50 and my stack is about 10k.

My M was 8.5.

Everyone folds to me in middle pos with TT.

Do u shove or fold it?

Thought so. :)

I shoved and the CO called with AQ. Queen came on the flop but nevermind. Gotta take a chance with a decent pocket pair.

I would have made a standard raise preflop, then push if the flop doesn't look so scary

Nah we have to shove. Standard raise is so much of our stack it is pointless to not shove as we have to get it in on the flop anyways. TT is ahead of AQ preflop but seeing a flop of 358 is just going to see AQ fold and we want it all-in with a flop like that.

At 8.5 it is time to double up or get KO'd and TT is more than good enough. Any pair is a shove here.
