Probably correct to fold there. Do I think opponent had the str8...probably not. Would he call the raise w/ a 7??? maybe 78s or A7, possibly but I'd figure 55, 1010, or JJ more likely with a bet like that. I would have probably bet more on the flop to try to get him to fold earlier, but you never know, some don't care what they chase with.

the way he pushed I was sure he had the 7, probably 77?
Hand #1: Don't bet the turn, bet the flop larger.
Hand #2: 4-bet preflop.

EDIT - And hand converters are your friend. http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/
ok, hand 1, check the turn to him yeah? and fold to a big bet?
hand 2: yeah I screwed that bit up straight away, I realised that as soon as I did it.

and that converter doesnt work with ub:(

No, you get to see the river free. If the board pairs, we spike a queen, or if his bet is small, we can consider calling a river bet. Otherwise, since we've bet the flop small, we're not committed and we can fold to a river bet with minimal damage.

Oh, right, UB is retarded. If you have Hold'em Manager, HEM will convert the hand history, and then you can take what HEM exports and stick it into the stox converter. Otherwise, I'm not sure I know of a UB compatible hand converter.

yeah, forgot about that, getting to see the river for free.
