IMHO yes make your standard raise here and your standard c-bet on the flop. On the turn I'd be looking to check raise all-in if villain had called my raise and c-bet.

Yep, i would of raised. I got position, i am going to raise.
A9 is a good hand, it gets even better when you hit trips.

Its a hand that looking back on, raising pf gives you a much clearer idea of what the BB is holding. As you played it you're probabbly going to lose to a raggy 94 or something along those lines, a hand which would never of called a raise.

A good player may have called a raise from the cut off pf (although probably not with his stack), with the intent of outplaying you on the flop or hitting a hand like he did. You atleast could put him on a range alot easier then.

Yeah man.. Why do you play for real money if you whether you should raise a hand or not.. I would even rais 72o here
