No real significant reads but both villians snap called my bets....should i have shut down on the river or but out a lil bet just to see so i didn't have to give up control of the pot?

and also is this an easy fold?

preflop with stacks pretty close + Ms>20 (except for shorty) this preflop call is fine but you really are looking for a better flop. Flop lead is OK but w/ 2 callers it's time to shutdown on the turn. At the river, yes easy fold as you can only really beat a bluff.

Without reads I think we have to fold the river.

It's difficult, becase there aren't a lot of realistic hands that beat us - AQ probably would have raised before the flop. KQ may not have, but we beat any other lone queen.

56 is the only plausible draw that's hit on the river, because the diamonds came runner-runner and you bet the flop. It's possible, but not the most likely hand.

Q7 / Q8 are possible. It'd be a pretty loose play before the flop, but not out of the question. 33 / 44 are also possible (and to a lesser extent, 88 or 77).

So that's... what, five or six plausible hands that beat us, and some others that are less likely but still possible.

OK, I've convinced myself, we've probably gotta fold. I suspect we're still good a decent chunk of the time, but our hand is marginal and the damage is just too great if we're wrong.

I think the best option for avoiding the situation would be to check the turn, for pot control as much as anything else, then assess what the villains do.

I thought about checking the turn but really hate giving both opponents free cards when i really don't know where i stand

I did end up folding on the river and regretting the bet on the turn so i guess i was just looking for alternate ways to play the hand

appreciate the input guys

too much crap too have only a pair and the othr guy not backing down, tough but doable, I don't know... you have straight two pairs and runner runner flush, people love calling with low connectors to "trick" a bigger hand. shut down on the turn proceed with caution run like hell on the river!
