Very similar hand to the one I wrote about earlier. This hand was about 30 hands before that one, when blinds were still 10/20. Same situation of middle pair.

Merge - $0+$0|<> NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 78.15 BB
Hero (BB): 71.85 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9 8

SB raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) J 8 4
Hero checks, SB bets 4 BB, Hero calls 4 BB

Turn: (14 BB, 2 players) 7
Hero checks, SB checks

River: (14 BB, 2 players) 9
Hero bets 9.3 BB, SB raises to 29 BB, Hero calls 19.7 BB

You pick up more outs on the turn + another flush draw hits, I'd be betting the turn.

As played, I wouldn't call the river raise, this is always for value I don't think villain is raising worse than better 2 pairs here, might seem nitty but I like bet/folding.

We're oop so raise with the intentions of GII on the flop is perfectly ok.

As played up until the river, I'm not sure what you want to get called by by a 2/3 bet on the river, seems extremely thin consid he will continue to value bet all his TP hands on turn so seems to have s/d value like an 8 were he can pick off bets on blank turns being in pos, once he raises river your almost never good, a hand lk 108.
