$1500 NL HE 6-max Deep Stacked: WSOP Event 22, 88 short stacked, 6 handed

With a stack of 2800 with blinds at 150 / 300 + 25, I am not getting away from 88 UTG, right? This is 6 handed, and I am significantly shorter than everyone else.

Yep, 88 is a blessing of sorts here.

Yes, you can't sit around and wait for AA or KK, you are considered short stack or in trouble in a tournament if you have less than 10x the BB = 3000... PUSH IT!

you`ll be eaten by the antes if you don`t call in this spots :)
88 will do well considering the situation.Hell, in 6 handed I would shove with 77 and 66 as well.
There`s no point in waiting for a better hand with less than 10 BBs, especially if the antes came into play.

Throw it all in the middle and hope it holds up if you get the callers
