Well, its hard to say...but i personally think that after the turn card "check" was wrong decision. Maybe the opponent thought you were bluffing or expecting something in the turn. He took the initiative after the turn "check". So you have lost the control over the hand. FOLD in the turn or RE-RAISE. CALL was a bad option

i prefer to control the pot here by betting small on the turn, if he raises us we're in a tough spot however we have no reason to suspect we're beat on that turn, we sure could be as it completes some combos of straight draws, however usually we have him here. Betting small allows us to keep that pot small, and it gives us a better indication of where we are in the hand.

As played i think i'm folding to, but i also really want to call, however it's a guessing game since we gave up control on the turn.

I agree with the others. You can bet that relatively safe turn (something like 7-10 bbs) to keep the lead in the hand and then if he calls, re-assess and pot control on the river. If you bet the turn and he raises, you can probably find a fold on the turn.

As played, you can fold on the river to his shove. sometimes you got bluffed here, but usually they've got at least a set the way the hand played out.

Why did you check the turn?
I would have bet the turn 8BB and if he calls then bet the river 10 BB. And fold to any raise. Cheking the turn screams "I have something not worth a bet. Push me off the hand"

You should cbet the the turn with atleast 1/3 of the pot

and can reevaluate if the villain 3bet shove.
