From last night, in a $12 (2 Rebuy) tournament ($1000 GTD). Apologies for no converter, I'm on mobile device.

After 3 hours of play, about 70 players down to last 5. Payout structure: 1st $450, 2nd $300, 3rd $150, 4th $100, 5th zero.

Myself: 50,000
Player 2: 50,000
Player 3: 40,000
Player 4: 25,000
Player 5: 20,000

Blinds are 2,000/ 4,000

This guy has 25,000 UTG and shoves ALL IN. 1 fold. Then me (BTN). I have AhJh. Everyone at table has been played ABC poker- tight and only playing very strong hands. This guy who shoved has played about 10 of the past 100 hands- however he has shoved ALL IN about 3 or 4 times in his past 10 hands. Nobody is calling him. Nobody is even raising the past 10 hands.

We are 1 place away from cash. Sorry for little info, any more info just ask. I will post conclusion soon after replies. What is your thoughts and your move? Let's discuss, thank you.

The best hand to be up against here is some sort of pair like eights and even then you're flipping for half your chips when you only have 12.5 bb's as the chip leader?

I'm folding and waiting for a better spot...

Well I called. It ended up AhJh vs Kh10h. How do you feel about the call now? In my opinion it is technically a good call, but given the circumstances I probably should fold, as calling gives the short stack a chance to take my hard earned chips at only a small underdog shot.

Of course, he won with the 10 paired.

The same.

Never allow the results to justify a decision in any given hand.

Surely fold at my end likewise.

The table sees him a very tight aggressive guy.

Easy fold. Guy's gonna get lucky & hit his Ten. (& you know that... so why even ask the question?)

Here you go again giving a new person backlash for posting a HA.

He posted the question to get advice and feedback.

There's no need to be that way PO.
