Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is CO with 9 9
4 folds, Hero raises to t180, 1 fold, SB raises to t480, 1 fold, Hero???

His stats are only over 25 hands so im not sure they help to much. For me to call it would basically be for about a quarter of my stack and I am going to have to fold on the flop most times so I think that is out. I figure he could have A10 or better, 9's or better, or KQ. He does have a 3bet% of 28% so maybe this might be a bit wider. Should I shove and hope he is on a resteal or I am at best 50 50? or just give up and fold?

If he has a 3 bet of 28% I am shoving but then again it is only 25 hands. If he is bad he will call with 66s etc. You cant call, so it is shove or fold. Being that it is early you can go both ways with the arguement. You could wait around cause you have time or you can get it in, in more marginal situations because it is early and you want to gain chips. I however think it is closer to a fold but not really sure.

Is this a turbo or reg stt? Did opponent get lucky to get the chips he has? I would say his range is 44+, Axs, A8off+, KJ+. This is just a general range I use for unknown players. I'm new to applying ranges too so improve it if you can.

No matter what range we put him on there is only 5 hands that dominate vs. 99...right?

If it feels like this guy is fishy it might be your best shot to get his chips before someone else does. If he's a decent player he knows he still has room to fold too.

In a turbo I'm inclined to shove. If it's a reg (i don't play reg speed often) you have more hands to choose from in the future.

It's a tough area of the stt for middle pairs for me. Thanks for posting it!

If 3bet is 28% over a bigger sample shove for sure in a turbo. Although I think 5/26 3bet or so is kinda high this early unless he is just happening to get monster hands(doubtful). So sample might be good enough even without other reads. This is kinda borderline in a turbo even unless you have more hands/reads.

IDK about regular game. Looks like reg speed to me cause FT's turbo's are $12. Most likely be more chances to get chips with less risk. These seem to take forever so you pretty much have about forever to get a hand to play. Most likely fold without more hands/reads IMO.
