OK First hand of a super turbo, no regs that i have stats on, $11 iPoker 6-max. Start with 1500, blinds 10/20 go up every 1 min. LOL.

Folded round to me in SB, i have 77, raise it to 60. Villain insta-shoves.
WWYD?

Would people be shoving this in a Super Turbo starting with 300 chips here?

Open-Shove in the SB? As played I think I would call; 22-66, AK, KQ hands I think in his range.

I think this is an easy fold here, 1st hand plenty of chips left once you fold.

But not 88-AA, and other broadway hands we're only flipping with?

of course, but with only 300 chips to start, you already put 1/5 of your stack in. That's why I think you have to call. A flip would be fine here.

Re-read OP, we don't have t300 chips.

I think there is much more broadway than pairs here, but I think it's a fold on the very first hand. I think this is a snap call with 99

Don't you find people shoving with worse here considering the turbo structure?

I mean, I'd be inclined to call here from a BB shove.

Everyone says fold and well I guess I'm no expert but I think any pair in super turbos like these are worth a call/shove? I've seen much, much worse shoved on these games, usually any Ace card.

Fold though I guess if everyone says so! :)

How is it instant call with 9'9s but not 7'7s - I'm just interested in knowing. Based on you thinking they shove with any two broadway cards?

IDK really, I just think 66-88 is very marginal here but 99+ is a call

Just a thought but as well as being ahead of two more pairs 99 also takes outs from a lot more Broadway straight draws.
