fold preflop... id be reluctant to call here OOP with AQ off, AQs sure ill call, as it plays much better postflop.. calling ehre is spewy and can get you in a lot of trouble postflop.. and if you hit an ace, your not likely to get paid off, and if you do get action with an ace high board, you cant ever be comfortable.

i dont think 3betting is ever a good idea in this spot.. AK id 3bet for sure.

the flop call is also spewy, once you hit the straight on the turn check raising seems fine. try to get paid off by AK type hands.

For me, it depends on any read you had on the initial raiser. He's raising from the cut-off so his range is likely to open up. Has he been rasing much from LP? Has he been loose so far? If so, I'd probably 3-bet back at him - probably as much as 200. If he re-raises then it's a no brainer fold. If he calls then I'd C-bet into the flop - he'd then probably reraise if he had the K (being afraid of the flush draw) and you'd know where you stood.

Having said all that, it's so early in the tourney you're prob unlikely to have a read on him (unless you have info from previous games) so is it worth getting involved this soon. Maybe best to fold and wait for more of a read.

I'd certainly play it as above though in the middle stage of a tourney. Tough hand to play though.

def fold pre-flop. For all the reasons wizzim said. Also i fold AQ utg 9 handed in any format. I think it's a losing play in the long run. I am probably wrong. I think c/r turn is probably slighty better then c/c. If you call it's going to be hard to stack him. I think c/r turn or c/c and bet large on river. Hope river isn't a bad card (brought a flush or a st8).

You shouldn't have called the flop bet. In a sng you want to keep as many chips as possible til you start shoving. Calling that much on a gutshot oop isn't the greatest thing you could do.

fold pre, fold on the flop, get it in on the turn-- not sure if donking or c/r-ing is best, but the money should go in.

Really suprised about everyone saying fold preflop.

I re-raise all in on the turn, he flips over

Kd-6d for the flush.
