he looks to be only slightly looser than average. depends on his range, it's a pretty simple spot if you know or can estimate what hands he shoves here.

in general i fold, but if you planned to raise/call him, then you are obviously far ahead of his 3betting range so you played it perfect. However i don't think we're that far ahead here.

Folding, A8 is never in good shape against a 17bb 3bet shove outta the blinds, you're crushed here way too often and still have 22bb behind.

With an effective stack 17bb , call 17bb with A8o very lose game , basically we behind , mostly we not have enough equity what call was profitable...
