Preflop
I prefer a fold here. AJo is such a "trap" hand against an EP open. In episode 3 of the good old "big game" poker show two different pros lost massive pots to the loose cannon Nadia Magnus with AJ, when she had aces up. Maybe I could get on board with calling on BTN, but here you had 5 players left to act behind you, who could all squeeze, and 3 of them had rejam stacks. 3 players could also take position on you by calling. So you will not always be able to see a flop here, and when when you do see a flop, you wont always have position.

Flop
If it was heads-up, maybe we could float here. But BB is still in the hand, which kind of handcuff us. As played good laydown.

I slightly disagree. The open was only for 2bb and we are very deep. I would like to get to a flop and see what happens. If someone comes in over the top of us pre, we bail. If we don't hit the flop, we bail.

That said, when deepstacked in EP, I usually like to have 2 of the 3 features of showdown value, suited, or connected. This only has 1... showdown with the A. In late position in an unopened pot, I can justify getting away with 1 of the 3. Using those rules alone, I wouldn't call this. But a lot of it is still caught up in "it depends".

I actually think, both of that work against us here. Against such a small open the players in the blinds will defend more, which mean, we will get a worse price (less overlay), and we cant use our position as effectively, as if we get it heads-up. So typially we want to 3-bet more facing a small open, because we want to drive people behind us out. But AJo is just not strong enough to 3-bet with 5 players still left to act behind us. And as for being deep AJo is not a type of hand, that play well with a deep SPR, so thats not great either.

Thank you for posting

GTO charts at 60bb has this a mix- R 15% Call 15% fold the rest. AJs is a pure call

Looking at the V's numbers we want to know specific data for this position-the numbers are LAG but balanced so leaning fold vs this V would be fine preflop.
As FUNDIVER said there are shove stacks behind us which could limit the UTG-1 range here as well so more data to fold preflop-

On flop the UTG flop c-bet % falls in the balanced range so folding is fine

Hope this helps
