being so deep, you are allowed to just flat call with AK here, it really doesn't play that well in a 3bet pot being so deep. I call and just play a really small pot, but also open up and call with a lot more stuff here to trying to hit flop and stack fish.

When we OPP we must bet in this pot 40% pot bet enough, because in the pre flop, we have shown aggression and should continue in flop ( flop reall bad for AKo )
In your situation, when you bet in trun when show blank card, dont think what villain fold any way what he have cards...

May I ask, Why no c-bet? What was your read on him? I see that you only played a couple hands with UTG but it seems like he did the same thing pf he did the first time, maybe that means hes just trying to flex his muscles. I just say that cuz I do the same thing if at new table and I am amongst the chip leaders of the table. I like to throw a couple chips around especially pf to see how the table plays.

I would actually normally flat here being so deep but because we have a 2 callers I think it's a must raise now. I mean, don't get me wrong, we don't need to 3B this hand pre this deep OOP but AK plays terrible post flop multiway. Think I'm just check folding this flop it's as bad as it gets for us and the pot is so small in relation to our stack we don't need to fight for this pot.

Don't even see any merit to betting the turn.

I think it's OK to either flat pre, or raise pre as you did. I lean towards raising since it's hard to play AK out of position in a multi way pot.

When you whiff AK so bad and you're still so deep I think you either Cbet the flop and give up, or just give up all together.

I will usually Cbet this board since I have the betting lead and it's now heads up. and then if my Cbet doesn't take down the pot I give up on the turn unless I improve.

Having checked the flop, I think you're basically just giving up on the hand (which is OK) but then the turn bet doesn't make much sense? I mean what are you really representing with that turn bet? it pretty much screams AK/AQ.... so 34 off suit can bluff raise you there and be assured of a fold pretty much all the time...

The outcome might have been different if you would`ve c-bet on the flop, that check gave him the chance to fire at you.

I would definitely do 1/2 cbet on the flop and try to bluff

rather than checking. If the villain 3bet ,then you can fold cause obviously

he got strong pair pre.
