Not sure if I should have reshoved to freeze out the player in the blind. Although if the blind villan shoves I will still be getting a very wonderful price to call with my draw.

I do maintain that I was very clearly putting villan on a 1 pr hand where I had 44% equity although I also do clearly admit it was very spewy.

Are spewy calls worth it sometimes in order to get a huge stk? Especially if losing that pot won't put your stk in danger?

Probably not... I may be searching for a reason to make my spewy call correct... i think however I know that it is spewy to call so much off with just a draw especially with another player behind me.

Let me rephrase your question, because this is essentially what you're asking:

"Is it ever okay to put more chips into a pot than I expect to get out of it on average?"

Yes I'm 100% comfortable putting those chips in to get a big stk confident I had ~44% equity with my draw!

What do you put both players on? A raise then a reraise, the chances of an already made hand are high. you have 8 outs (36%) against a set, 11 outs against a pair lower than an 8 (44%) and 14 outs against anything lower than a Q (56%)....you also said you had villian on a one pair hand? What abouth the other villian there were 3 in the hand.

Theres no arguing here, with your M why risk it. Pros dont make this play, actually many won't go in unless they are in the 60% plus range of hitting. Open endeds are over rated and the action ecspecially in this mtt(deep stack wait for big pairs and sets) is obvious.

I would have not played the open ended st draw here with backdoor flush not enough out and equity here to have to committ so much tothis pot! You have figure one of your opponents have a big pr or made hand and maybe both of them !

Brent- the fundamental problem is you should 100% be folding this hand preflop. Raise it on the button maybe if the UTG limper is very weak passive... but from your seat? setting yourself up for complete spew if not halving your stack on the wrong flop.

TO make it worse if you are going to raise it, you need to raise more there.

And then the worst of it all is the flop. your flat is horrible. Either shove or fold (I think a fold is correct here though.) you have far fewer outs than you think based on that action. you don't have the right price to call the UTG jam here to begin with... and once the SB reships... just FOLD you are drawing slim to none.

SB has to have a set, 58 or 8T

All that said... just FOLD PRE. You have a huge stack and are spewing it away with fancy play syndrome.........
