$11 NL HE: $10 + 1 NL HE: $ : 4/9 - Final Table $10 180 MTT - AA in Sb - Shove on turn?

I got to the final table with relative ease. Consistent blindsteal LP and 3 bet defending on the BB were my main source of chips up until this hand:

600/1200 Blinds 125 Ante

BB (t27016)
UTG (t14748)
UTG+1 (t17647)
MP1 (t20104)
MP2 (t12793)
MP3 (t50703)
CO (t41416)
Button (t57127)
Hero (SB) (t28446)

Hero's M: 9.73

Preflop: Hero is SB with A

4 folds, MP3 calls t1200, 1 fold, Button calls t1200, Hero bets t4800, 1 fold, MP3 calls t3600, Button calls t3600

Hero bets t8400, MP3 calls t8400, 1 fold

Being an avid searcher of this website for a while without making any posts, I felt this hand was the right time to make an input (mainly to justify my disappointment).

I have been playing poker recreationally for about 4 years now with limited knowledge, mainly playing live games but no stranger to the odd MTT.

I basically want to know whether the push on the turn was a necessary move or could I have gotten out of it with relative ease?

I had little to no knowledge about the opponent in this hand as it was only a few hands into the FT.

Any feedback is welcome.

With an M of 9, I'd like to get all in preflop or on the flop. So, preflop I pump this up to 1/3 of my stack (something like 7700 sounds good), and then stick the rest in on the flop.

I also don't like the turn check. His flat on the flop is often a hand with decent showdown value that he won't bet, and often the river cards will kill your action or allow your opponent to improve. You've bloated the pot up to the point where he's calling a shove anyways.

+1, with two limpers the preflop raise could have been stronger. I'm guessing he had a boat? He woulda been really stupid playing a flush that way.

I also like 5x or 6x raise pre-flop, then jam on flop when we are first to act. As played, we're past the point of no return imo, so just shove, c/r is kinda silly.

Pre flop raise is ok, make it about 4000-4500 though imo, then just open shove the flop.
