This I can empathise with completely.... I was a winning player live for quite some time, transitioned to online to discover I was a losing player. I had to work hard at my game and realised I knew very little. I am now, after a lot of hard work and studying, a winning online player and my live game has increased substantially too.

I wouldn't say it's a matter of "knowing very little"... It's simply just a different skill set (IMO).

online poker VS Live Poker has always been (in my mind) a very different game - and therefore a different skill set.

Anyways...

it's a differant skill set, but it's the same game. Like playing online SNG you need to be math based, but live you really need to be able to play more on the fly, and get involved in spots just because a very bad players is at the table. just for a quick example.
