$1 NL HE: What is the worst kicker I should value bet the river with?

180 players No limit holdem tournament 1$ buy-in 9 handed tables.
Blinds: 50/100
Starting stack 1500
My stack when the river is dealt: 1840
Opponent outchips me.
Everyone folds and I raise 3 big blinds in late position, one of my hole card is a J of hearts.
Only loose player in big blind calls.
The flop is: Jd 5s 2c.
I bet 5 big blinds and opponent calls. Turn is 2d.
Big blind checks. And I check. River is 3h.
Board: Jd 5s 2c 2d 3h
Opponent checks.
My hand strenght is 2 pairs: jacks and the 2s on the board.

What is the worst kicker I should value bet the river with?

I think your opponent was drawing but that check on the river should have suggested you that he missed or was trapping you with the made str8 or full house. He could have called with like A5s or something like that. If u had like KJ, QJ or AJ after your opponent checked to you you should defenetlly value bet but there no shame in checking and be safe. I think KJ or AJ only here, but a check is fine, you could be crushed

I doubt that any hand that would crush JJ22 would check turn and river.

(although in the 1$ stackes maybe even that is possible)

Personally I would value bet with any Jx here and fold to a reraise shove.

Same here. If he had you beat he might well check the turn, and I think u were right to check there, but its unlikely he'd check the river as well.

Weaker hands than a pair of jacks could call your river bet such as mid range pocket pairs or a pair of fives, and well since its a $1 sit n go probably ace high occasionally.
