$1 NL HE Turbo: Any way to shake him?

About the third hand of the tourney, I limped in pre flop, hit a flush draw plus inside straight draw on the flop. Anyone think I should have shoved all in on the flop to scare him off?

You have a big hand, why the hell would you want to do that?

Looks like you got out-flushed, tough break. No real hand analysis here, just a bad beat.

The only thing you could've done differently is to bet the flop & river smaller so that you can fold the river if he raises. Bet ~65 into 80 on the flop, that makes the pot 210 instead of 240. You then bet ~150 into 210, and the pot becomes 510 instead of 560. Then bet like 400 on the river, and then your opponent will have enough in his stack that you could possibly fold to a river shove.

But I still wouldn't fold with a flush in a $1 SnG.

There's also a possible argument for check/calling the turn, since the 7 completes some draws and generally strengthens our opponent's range, but betting the turn here can't be a big mistake. Checking the turn would also probably keep the pot smaller and reduce your variance in the early stages of the tournament.

Hard to ever get ppl to in $1 sng and there is only $80 in the pot on the flop anyway. It really is not worth shoving and risking your whole stack to be in a coin flip with an A or a 2 to 1 underdog if someone flopped a set. All other hands would just fold most times and you only just win $80.

I think you have the best hand..Im guessing he had a hand like 56 and smooth called on the turn to get u to bet the river and go over the top
