$1 NL HE Rebuy: hit straight on turn, good idea to push all-in?

sorry about the hand converter, or lack of it, but i couldnt find one for this network(Boss)
anyway, I put this guy on an ace, maybe a jack, so i don't think he was folding either way, but on the turn, should I have just called his bet to see what the river would bring, then I could take it from there. with the river double-pairing the board, I could easilly fold my straight against a potential/very probable full house.

Im not to experianced with the strategy difference between MTT's and rebuys but your re-raise all-in is perfectly legit... BUT i would have just called.

The hand you have is slow playable. You cant possibly put him on a spade draw... and if he has a J he has 6 outs... for the boat. and if he has an A he has 4 outs. Whether or not i could have gotten away from the straight on the river is unknown. but if we know he wont fold whats wrong with calling and seeing the last card and re-evaluating where we stand.

Ok, so i know you play more then me. I would of called, but i would of had to think he has AJ or AK. Just from the flop being AJJ, i would of folded...
Thats my view....

I can understand why you would have reraised this guy all-in. He's dumping a substantial portion of his chip count and putting him on a Jack is fair. To be honest, I read through these things without reading the comments first to see what my take would've been had I was playing and I had him on a Jack too. In regards to the turn play, I'm not sure what your playing style is, but considering the 10 and the A on the table, I'd have been worried about a full house right there. I'd have called him to see the turn and how he reacts.. but to each his own. It's a personal thing, and you DID have table position, so your re-raise all in is understandable

i think you played this hand good. if you pushed allin after turn, i'm sure he would call you,so the result would be the same...
if is a mistake on this hand, that mistake is cuz you call the flop...

I believe I would have been out of the hand on the flop. That board has me worried. If he does have trips, which is what I would have thought, I'm not chasing the 10. Then the turn comes, you get your straight, got lucky so I'm gonna shove at this point. Then the river comes to put the dagger in you.

Remember this, it is only a one dollar Re Buy tournament. Shoving in on the turn is completely acceptable. You made broadway. What is the likelihood of the board double pairing? Incredibly low percentage. Unfortunately it did on the turn. Good players expect to lose and rebuy for the chances of increasing his/her stack before the first intermission.

Bare in mind, prior to buying into these tournaments, you should be prepared to purchase the following:

- ( 1 ) Your initial buy in
- ( 4-5 ) Up to five ReBuys
- ( 1 ) One add on

This may sound far fetched to low bankroll players, however this is strategic for re buy events.

Your play was OK, but you have to think what he in on... you'd imagine he as at least a pair of Aces and there's a pair on board, so you have about a 90% chance of winning no matter what. You just got unlucky:(
