should i have gone all in the turn ?

or is it only my bad the call on the river(i thought he had the flush)

I think checking the turn is very bad. Its very unlikely that he has a made flush and if he checks after you then you are giving a free card to hand with a single high diamond to beat you. I think leading out betting 2/3 of the pot about 240 is sensible.
After you've checked and he bets the turn though you probably should move all in I think. Very unlucky to lose the hand though.

i am playing so passive as they call so much as these levels, really they dont fold that much.

do u think he would fold the two per ? I really doubt it.

Maybe i should have folded on the river not to take a chance ?

You should make stronger bet on the flop.
Something like 500-600 or all in.
Or you can play tight and see if there is a flush draw on the board then fold.
