I was going to edit your post to exclude your flop action and the actions following, and delete your last four lines, but didn't.

In terms of hand analysis, the only interesting question is what you should do in response to UTG's donk bet followed by MP2's raise - obviously you kinda tipped us off that you lost the hand, that nobody has a 3, and nobody has a pair higher than 99's.

Forgetting all that, what ranges are we putting them on that leads us to think that we have fold equity against both of them, and/or that Hero's 99's are good?

Personally I fold preflop after a raise and reraise being the 1st hand I wait and get my money in a better spot. You have no read on the table yea you could be ahead but got to be able to fold these hands also.

I think I fold pre.

As played, I think shoving on that flop is a mistake. Yes, that flop is non-threatening but what possible ranges could villians be donkbetting and raising with?? Especially the first hand of a MTT??

From your post it seems that on the flop you were ahead but I just think you were ahead, luckily. More often times than not, you are still behind.

I dont mind the call pre you can easy hit a set and stack someone. But when you dont and have this kinda flop action your 9s are very rarely good here.

Forget about Mr Full Tilt and all that bollocks from this particular hand, shoving 9s over that action is a big mistake, no matter what they had this time

i really think calling to hit a 9 pre is fine even OOP as long as we can get away from the hand on a board like this.

I think its too nitty just to fold 9s pre here, I you played pre fine, so what made u spazz out on the flop here?

Also the fact that they both called suggests that if the flop was 933 you would have stacked at least one of them imo, so calling off a small part of ur stack pre to hit a set is fine imo

We really dont want to stay away from the donks if we play competently. The donks are where we make so much money. I see so many players wanting to move up to get away from donks and threads saying how do we avoid donks and its just stupid we want to play with donks all day everyday...just dont spazz out.

It's a great flop for 99 - unless you're behind a bet and a raise from the pf original opener and the pf 3bettor. What did you think they were betting with?

That doesn't necessarily mean you don't have the best hand at this point, it's very possible for one hand to be 55-88 and the other to be a flush draw - but I wouldn't count on it, and a bet and a raise says you have very little fold equity.

If you're up against AdKd and 88 and both call all in, for example, you have a 46% chance of winning at showdown with this flop - you're tied w AdKd, 88 is a serious dog. It's a gamble.
