I think im folding to quickly when there is just 1 over card to my high pp. I think this first hand was an easy fold. he could easily have a Queen here and im not going to push him off a queen with a weaker kicker. I probably should of checked behind to see if i could spike a J on the turn.

This next hand i think i feel like i played really bad. I made a bet on this flop that easily looks like it could be a cbet making his check raise seem like a steal attempt. This guy was decent player and if i didn't suck at note taking id probably have a better description of his play. according to PT3 his stats for the game were vpip/PR/fold% - 34/20/42. I knew i had to come over the top if i wanted to play after his reraise. And Folding would leave me crippled.

ah it seems i shoulda searched the forums for this answer, thanks for linking me to that. Good stuff. I always knew the ideas of WA/WB but i never understood it well till i read that. What if my opponent does not check this flop but instead leads out (obviously this is read dependent, but generally speaking) can i still make the call and see if i get him to slow down on the turn even if he bets a fair percent of my stack, or is that a spot to just muck the under pair and wait for a better spot. I think one of my biggest leaks is folding a winning hand to many times when facing aggression.
