If your read on MP was that he'd call your shove with a large range then good play in getting MP to commit a weaker hand against your premium hand.

I thought he would, as long as he had an Ace. Thought i got called a donkey for that move... i won the game, but this hand, had me thinking most of the game.

Shoving pre is an overbet for sure, but sometimes (especially at the $1 level) thats the only way to neutralize a LAG out of position. As Jilly said, if you think he's gonna gas any ace then a shove all day is +EV.

if he had shown tedencies to call with weak aces and hands like KQ then this was a good shove

good shove, in small buy`in tourneys I almost always shove AK if some1 raises before me, because there are alot of LAGs who will call all in pf with a lot of hands that AK has dominated.

You just got a bit lucky here that he called you.. I would have raised to something like 375
