shoving all in with kings preflop is never a mistake really...

i wouldnt advise min 3betting him though, make it a little more... same result i guess...

if he has aces here your unlucky to get a cooler at this stage.. but over the long run, youd be making a mistake to fold kings here

I would call here. You're really only fearing one hand he could have. You're already in the money and a chance to make it into the top 10 if you win. With 80 people left, having a big chipstack would be a great advantage. I can't see folding this.

That is good point.

Even though i had strong feeling that he had aces because of situation and felt that I could be more patient and move my way up the money ...I called because of the range I put him on. Because of level of buy-in i put him on 22-AA AK-AJs or AK AQo (good range?)... so like someone said I only had 1 hand to fear.

He had AA. Spiked one on a rainbow flop for a set and I was done. (wish that he just called because that A on the flop would of saved me rest of my 35k)

Came in 79th for like 6$ and a 3$ profit after 4 hours of playing! sucks ... but hopefully ill get up there. Came in 7th the day before but that was only for 23$ I think.

Thanks for answers... definatly helped ... was going back in forth in my brain all night.

So is there ever a situation you would fold KK preflop with an all-in shove?
