C-betting here is fine, checking back would also be fine. The most "correct" strategy is to do a bit of both to be more unpredictable.

Turn
Probably the worst card in the deck for you, since it not only bring in the frontdoor flush, it also bring in all the broadway gutshot draws. QJ is now a straight, and KQ/KJ has a higher pair.

River
You only beat a bluff, and when all the draws got there, what is he then bluffing with? Good fold.
