I don't have HUD for this once. Would you call or fold? I am shooting for the 1st place finish here. Villain is polarized and could be catching the low stacks with a decent wide range.

Fold , there are 4 players with short stacks, therefore it is not necessary to risk and better find a better solution than coinflip most of the time or be behind..

If shove short stack you need call, but now better fold,,, That to save the advantage with a stack size against small stacks...

I would've definitely call it even if there are lots of shortstacks. You are also short. Villian could be shoving much worse with under 10bb. Especialy if you're aiming for first place. If you slow down you will probably hop a few price jumps without risk. But i think it is to tight to fold there.

easy call. It's a late position jam and he only has 7bbs so his range is quite wide. He's looking at 4 folds on his CO with 7bbs. I'd jam 22+, any ace, any K, Q5+, J6+, J2s+, T7+ T4s+, 67o, 68o, 69o, 34s+ (64% of hands).

vs. that range, AQ is doing quite well with 61% equity.

If you think he is pushing tighter, something like any pair, any ace and any 2 broadway cards (28% pushing range, which is pretty tight in this spot, by the way) then AQ still has 57% equity. Meaning you are a solid favorite vs. all but the tightest ranges.

how tight would he have to be pushing before you're an underdog? you are 50% to win vs a 10% jamming range (66+, AT+, KQ) meaning he'd have to be tighter than THAT before you are an underdog.

I can't imagine a player who would fold KQ, AT or 66 in that spot, so I think it's a clear call. If he happened to show up with better, then it was just bad luck for you....

So funny define the range hands without HUD in microlimits...

Its MTT 10 cent, not $100,,, 98% bad players and not know about optimal game.... FOLD because we not have edge if we lose our stack , when in final table many short stack, where we can find more profitable situation then this,,,

Need to play a more tighte and not call shove, no sense to risk now because prize zone is different and better wait when in game many short stacks..soon they anyway bust out..

I could here call , only when I saw the statistics on the opponent,
against unknown villain , only fold in this situation when many short stacks...

Your reasoning is correct but not for the micro-limits...

Your being extremely tight in defending your BB, micro limits or not. We may just have to agree to disagree.

if you are not calling with AQ here, then what ARE you calling with? AK and JJ+

That is a huge leak if your calling range is that tight with a short stack in your BB....have fun occasionally blinding into a min cash in the micros...

Thanks for all your reply.

Villain got KK on this one. I called and busted out. I posted this because i felt bad since I have bigger stacks relative to most of the players.

I agree to fold the hand, look for other better spots or better yet wait for the two shortstacked to be busted out pay-jump is a huge difference.

I fold too, irregardless of the result.

I want to enjoy being the chip lead. My opponent is almost same with my chip count.

In general call, you have so strong hand which dominates opponents range. If win just take the easy victory by being a bully and forcing other stacks to fold. If you lose, there's still a good chance that you win blind flip next hand and end up with 30k-40k stack @ button.
