Brees a fluke? Uh, he was putting up monster numbers before last season. He's no fluke.

1. Manning
2. Brees
3. Brady, but I'm iffy on this one after last season.
4. Rogers
5. Rivers

I left Favre off since he might finally be retired.

Coming off of ACL surgery is not an easy thing to come back from. He still has the best postseason record out of all the active quarterbacks out there right now.

Yep, that's why I still list him as 3rd. He very well could jump to 2nd or even 1st next season, but it would be hard for me to rank him over Peyton.

First of all, if you're going to make a list make sure you spell the QBs names correctly. Sanchez? LOL! That's a good one.

Raiders fan? or maybe Jets fan?

I think there are only two quarterbacks in the league that are worth putting up. Peyton Manning and Drew Breeze:D. There are no others in their category. There are still good quarterbacks in the league with a good cast to help them be a playoff team which good thing but a quarterback to put them on their shoulder and do it is those two quarterbacks I just mentioned.

4. Tom Brady
5. Matt Schaub = Aaron Rodgers

Hard to answer if you are not specific. When you ask who the best quarterback is, what do you mean? Irrespective of their team?

For example, if you took Peyton off of the Colts and put him on the Seahawks, the Seahawks would be respectable. If you did it with Rivers or Brady, they'd still be the Seahawks.....and they'd still suck.

Very easy to say "oh, he's the best! Look at his year"

I love what Farve did this year. Hall of famer, no doubt. But if he didn't have Sidney Rice, would Berrian and the young guy be enough?

Then you have to look at the O-line. How much time does the QB have in the pocket? Although I HATE DEL-HOMIE, his and the Jag's O-line was atrocious this year. The QB can't do anything like that?

All I'm saying is as it is phrased, it is not a simple cut-and-dried question.
