In well known poker rooms as FullTilt, pokerstars, partypoker there is no any risk to give them your confident information but if this room isn't so famouse it's better not to do this/

And i dont need to send any personal information there so it seems serious to me

I claimed a free bankroll through an affiliate for Mansion Poker and it worked out OK for me. I had to make a deposit before I could withdraw and provide proof of ID, but that was no problem.

i just tried one site out and i got $10 free at ultimatebet, im sure other sites offer more but i choose this one because all they require is to download the site through their link and use their refferal bonuse code and after making my account at ultimatebet i had to email them my Ultimate Bet nickname, real name and email address associated with your Ultimate Bet account, but in order to withdraw i got to play 300 raked hands, wow, sounds like alot, but it's free, im not sure im allowed to advertise the site but google, no deposite bonus, it's either the 1st or 2nd.

Thanks all for your answers ...
As someone from CC told me, it is maybe not authorized to make advertisment for sites that gives bakroll offers ...
Now I am in registering in a site offering that ... and that seems to be working. In general, only the condition to withdraw are quite difficult to reach, but as it's free, it is really interesting to try ...
For the moment, I had a $10 free bankroll and if I reach xxxx points I can have another part of the bonus : remaining $25.
Just for the moment, I did only 4 games :
- 1 SUPER TURBO with 16 players, I arrived 3rd (buy in $0,66 earned $1,92)
- 3 SnG at $0,12 ($0,10 buy in + $0,02 fees/charges) and I won 1, came 2nd on another and lost the last => about + $0,50 => And a total of 1 point and I have to reach 4000 points if I remind well to have remaining $35 :) => It will be a long run before reaching it. Maybe I'll go on cash games to try to accelerate the bonus to come :)

Thanks again, all seems to be fine for me now ! And I feel more confident based on what you say to me :)

I did one when I was really into tourneys. Something like $50, or $100 if you deposited. I chose the former. They wanted me to play cash games to clear the bonus but the site I linked through basically said by email that you'd lose it before you got the required raked hands. So instead I played some $5 HORSE tourneys and cashed in a few (around 50 people). Then I played a $15 which I won = $270. I then asked if I could withdraw the cash. The site said that I could take out the amount over the free money - so i took out $350+. Then I decided to try to free up the other by playing cash games - got to 100 raked hands before I'd lost it ( needed 375). Haven't played there since.

Overall, very happy with the offer but I did notice I never got any other promotions from the site - you know free money or touney invites.

I didnt know there was actual bankroll offers like that. Might go and look into them.

Currently, I do have ...
Of course, there are conditions for having the second part of the bonus, but currently, in one weekend, I had accomplished about 10% about the required "action points" for the remaining bonus :)

never actually tried it, but if you can get money for free without having to give away your whole identity, it might be worth a shot.

I have taken advantage of free bankroll offers, and havent had any problems doing so. Once Youve have met all the requirements, drivers license etc, you are elidgeable for all the bankroll offers, and they are usually pretty easy to get. I think its a good way to get started playing poker for real money without risking your own.

Thank God for other countries then. Simple solution, lust leave the Land of the Free(?!?) and move to the Land of Free Money:) i.e. more or less anywhere else.

Either that or write :deal: to Bama abbout it.:banghead:

STOP IT

You're wrong, so why do you even bother putting misinformation out there? You go so far as to shout it in caps. Perhaps somebody told you this and you believe it, but you'd do well to check your facts. People post questions on here because they want accurate answers. You serve no one by posting misinformation.

The affiliates don't limit by country, but many poker sites do. If you go on the afforementioned affiliate site and select a country from the dropdown list on the right, then click the "Free Money" tab, you'll see what offers are available in that country. For example, there are 7 in germany, 2 in the US, and none in Russia and China. I and many other Americans have gotten free bankrolls.

I'm finding an increasing number of wrong and misleading posts on CardsChat. Is it because people are saying anything to reach 50 posts? You help nobody and you hurt your own credibility when you post misinformation, so if you want to contribute, why don't you just check your facts and make sure what you say is correct? Please.

I can only speak for my own case. I used pokerstrategy.com which does not allow US players (or at least they didn't when I signed up a few months back).

I really only have good things to say, so here is my free $50 bankroll story.

A friend told me if I signed up there and passed a test, I would get a free $50 deposit at the poker room of my choice. WOOT! What a deal. First I will give you my warnings, so you will not be as surprised as I was.

Warnings
  1. As already mentioned in this thread, make sure that you want the free $50 over any other offer. If you are only a freeroll player, you are probably better off using the CardsChat link as you will have access to freerolls that you cannot play in if you accept the $50. At the other end of the scale, if you are a big money player, you will be better served by a rakeback offer. Think carefully before you decide to accept the bankroll, because there is no turning back once you have downloaded the poker room's software.
  2. Clearing the bonus is nearly impossible. At Party Poker I needed to collect 300 points in 90 days in order to keep the money. I play MTT's so that is the equivalent of $1,500 + $150 in buy-ins seeing that $1 = 2 points. And while clearing the points in cash games may be a bit easier, I think you will find that it is still only attainable for the truly gifted or the truly lucky.
  3. You cannot get the money at any site that you already have an account at. You must be a new user.
The Good

  1. Although you will not pass the quiz without studying, if you spend an hour reading the tutorial and keep the window open while you take the quiz, you will pass quite easily.
  2. They told me it could take up to a week to receive my roll. I had it the following day. Pokerstrategy.com deposited $1 to my account which was later increased to $50 by Party Poker.
  3. You also have the chance to earn $100 more. However, if you think that clearing the first bonus was difficult, wait til you see the requirements for the second. Unless your screen name is Durrrr or Potripper - forget about it!
  4. But who cares? You get to keep all the money you win. So even if you blow the whole $50, you still keep your game winnings, freeroll winnings and Party Poker points. This makes it much easier to start a bankroll than from freerolls alone.
  5. You are considered a first time depositor even though it wasn't you that made the deposit. At Party Poker that translates into some very juicy freerolls. First, you have access to a $1,500 freeroll every Saturday for the first 30 days. Second, you can play in the Bankroll Builder freerolls for 60 days. There are 2-3 of these freerolls every day with fields usually of only 1000-1800 players. The top 50 share $100 in prize money and each get a ticket to a $2,500 freeroll the following Saturday. Place in the top 200 of that freeroll and you get a ticket to a $10,000 freeroll at the end of the month. I'm qualifying for all these tickets which is really helping my bankroll a lot.
  6. Finally, I've heard from others that have used this site that Party Poker usually gives another $50 to the players a few months after the first promotion expires to try again. I cannot confirm this myself, but I have heard this information from more than one person.
Hope that helps. If anyone has any questions about my experience feel free to message me.

I did several of them and had no problems, but I regret taking them because now I can't sign up for rakeback offers on those sites. so long term i think it is better to just use a deposit bonus.

I found it very useful because I was totally new to poker, and they made me take a test about poker before they would let me have the money. Nobody telephoned me at home to check my identity, they didn't ask for photographs or driving licenses, and the money appeared in my new account at pacific poker without any problems.

Incidentally the posts in this thread along the lines of "nobody gives you $50 for free" are quite frustrating, seems to me that they are posted by people who don't have a clue what they are actually talking about. ;)

Just make sure that you are going with an established affiliate, and signing up with one of the major poker sites.

i dont think its unsafe

but clearing the bonus in the time alloted can be very tough...nearly impossible...i think they give you thirty days...and you have to accumulate alot of points...and it usually means your not going to get other offers from the site itself

I don't think this is correct. The CardsChat freerolls are available to all qualified CardsChat members, regardless of how you signed up for the site. The CardsChat bonuses are great and a good way to support the forum, but I've played many CardsChat freerolls and tourneys on sites where I've used other sign-up methods. But some affiliates do indeed offer special freerolls that only their affiliate members qualify for.

I did several of them and had no problems, but I regret taking them because now I can't sign up for rakeback offers on those sites. so long term i think it is better to just use a deposit bonus.

No. LONG-TERM it's better to take rakeback. Bonus offers also cover a limited time or ammount (although they don't expire on UB). Rakeback is forever. You can often get rakeback AND bonus.

Incidentally the posts in this thread along the lines of "nobody gives you $50 for free" are quite frustrating, seems to me that they are posted by people who don't have a clue what they are actually talking about. ;)

How true. The facts are established, but people still want to throw their paranoia in there. Affiliates have valid self-serving reasons for offering bonuses, rakeback or free cash. It's real. It's not a gimmick. Just think about what the best deal for you is. If you're a long-term player, go rakeback. If you're happy with dabbling, go free cash.

Unlimited time at Ultimate Bet. BUT anybody who puts their own money into Ultimate Bet or Absolute is stupid in light of all the scandal surrounding Cereus network.

He is correct, but only for the big monthly freerolls on Party and Titan. You have to have used the CC link to qualify for them, they are pretty small fields as well.
