Your attitude towards 888 - Poll

Today I read a negative review about my favorite site, namely 888. You can read more details here:

And so I became interested in conducting a survey among members of our community, the essence of which is to determine the attitude to a specific site, namely to 888 in this case.
So I will be grateful to everyone for participating in my survey

What is your opinion about 888, do you see more advantages, more disadvantages or do you think 888 is just a mediocre poker site. Please choose your answer option, and if you have such a desire, I will be grateful for additions in your comments.

I voted 'normal', not sure it is normal but I think there are pros and cons. Lots of good freerolls as a pro and games can be soft, but rake is too high on the cash games, with few games running and sometimes they have offers that seem designed to trick you, giving you pointless sports bonus etc. I've never personally had an issue withdrawing, though the exchange rate they give is bad.

888 is still one of my favorite poker sites. Still many freerolls to play.But,unfortunately,the last promotions are not as good as they used to be.

888 Poker is average even now below average now many poker sites have reached a new level and there are a lot of players there, many changes, improvements and variety 888poker has not changed in many years, so I think 888poker is weak among many poker sites I hope they will make it better in the future

10 years ago, they are all basically shades of rubbish.
888 Is nowhere near a weak site compared to others, when the top site is now GG Poker ? OMG what a rubbish site, full of glitches and
askes for your bank statements to verify your account. What a joke.

In my opinion, 888 has more advantages
Although I have been playing on this site for no more than three months, the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages for me. At least in this short period of time, I didn't see any critical flaws, other than the apparently terrible work of their support.

.... but a foreign passport, a driver's license, or a bank statement is an absolutely ordinary package of documents, which in most cases they are asked to provide in 90% of cases. You have been a member of the community for more than 10 years, and if you have never withdrawn money before, I assure you, these are absolutely normal standard requirements and there is nothing unusual about it

I'm not sure why you're experiencing 'glitches' on GGPoker. It runs smoothly on my old dinosaur of a computer (I can run 10 tables on it while running 3 or 4 other poker sites, Youtube, PT4, Twitch streamers... all at same time on 10yr. old computer i5-4670, 500GB SSD). I mean zero problems.. very snappy (better than pokerstars!)

I've heard mention before about players needing to show bank statement on GGPoker but all of them were from the UK. I've never heard of anyone from anywhere else needing to do this so I'd suggest it's a UK gov't. restriction thingy. (&/or rules GG is needing to abide by for operating in that region). I mean surely they wouldn't care if a person deposited their entire bank account... would they?

I agree that poker is not what it was 10+ years ago. Too many gimicky/gambly games imo. I also think it's sad that sites even moved towards Casino games but obviously that is where the money is unfortunately.

I haven't played much on GGPoker at all & really have just gotten started on there the past couple months. For low stakes MTT's they are MUCH better than the other sites! I will for sure be playing on there much more in the future. When I open up my computer I still gravitate towards the other sites (especially when playing cash games) but it's mainly because I am familiar with them (and the players in the player pools I play in). It took me a bit to get used to the look of the tables & software features on GGPoker but once I got it set up to how I like it (plain as possible) it feels very much like Pokerstars (but as I mentioned earlier, it runs a bit smoother... ie. snappier response from the betting buttons). I'm super happy that a site like GGPoker exists today. It gives me hope that I can still play online poker. (the other sites are a bit dismal imo but I do play at a few of them still)

888poker has always had very good promotions and it was the first site i started playing the game.

When the site was called pacific poker

That was such a long time ago oh how time flies.

I will always have a soft spot for 888 i made many friends based in the UK and germany there and we used to play private HG every weekend.

I picked the 1st option: 888 has more advantages than disadvantages.

There are always great promotions, a really good loyalty program and a lot of freerolls* also active Twitch channel/-s(the 888 ambassadors stream a lot too and there's lots of giveaways everywhere to build/ boost your bankroll)... yes, there were some problems with the software lately but the issues were fixed quite fast and even though I agree that support might not be the best, 888 definitely is one of the best sites to play on(I wouldn't go as far as to call it 'terrible' tho as I had a few problems in the past and each time the support fixed it* it can depend on your country as I've seen others players complain about it... but I didn't have bad experiences with support and/or with deposits/ withdrawals...).

I've never had any problems with 888Poker, so for me it's a normal site.
