As we know, banks will deduct the account fee every month in addition to the annual insurance and other fees.
In Europe in general the banks do not charge you for running a personal account
and transfers within one country are usually free and very fast, in many cases faster than cryptocurrencies transfers.
You may also be aware that in most of the countries bank deposits are guaranteed by governments
at least to the value of some 10 000 euro, but usually much more,
so even in the unlikely even when a bank closes down, you will get your money back ( at least the guaranteed part).
Compare it with the cryptocurrencies, where when you forget the password, you are dead.
There are many of negative things one can say about the banks, but this is not the case.
But in your country maybe it is different, so you can think about using a cryptocurrency wallet, or
paypal or a similar solution.
I am not against keeping the money on the poker room account, but I think it is the least practical from all above options.
