Went to a home tourney at a house I'd never been before. Played tight aggressive, waited for my moments.
Unfortunately for me, by the time it was heads up, the chip leader was so overwhelmingly much larger in stack size than I...I think he had about 20,000 chips to my 5,000 and I simply couldn't call his constant raising with the hands I was getting (7,3o, 10,2o, 5,9o).
I went all in a few times but only to maintain my 5,000 as I got chipped away. Finally went all in with A,4s and he called with Q,3o and got his Q on the river.
He won $250, I won $150..3rd place won $95.
Then we played a cash game later and I won another $50.
So that was a great night!
Cheers,
