PS best for new players. It bans bots actively, has a free poker school course that gives free tickets for participating and has no time limit on it's chest reward system, you can play one hour a day and it builds up whereas pp has time restricted rewards.

Actually if loyalty program is how rakeback occurs than you do BEST by sticking to one room rather than playing many as you will never get majority rake returned to you for time and effort put in if you spread out your play.

My main site is pokerstars too.
Has nothing to do with rakeback, because as a none full-time player playing the lower stakes, rakeback ain't that much of an issue to me.
Most important for me is the traffic which means capped tournaments fill up pretty fast.
Besides from that, I like the layout, am used to the software, withdraws go fast.....in short....I like it, nothing to complane.
Still, at some point I opened an account at Party, deposited and there you are....first bonus....the saturday CC freeroll, with less players than the Stars freerolls and bigger prizes.
For you as a FRC member that should already give you lots of value (unless you just can't play at that time).
Besides from that I got a shitload of free tickets to try to qualify for big events.
Just for free, just value.
I just mention Party here, but there's lot of other sites where you can earn nice value when opening an account, without it costing you a lot of time, so for your maingame you can still stick at pokerstars if you want.
I just want to say people are thieves of their own wallet, when not opening accounts at more sites, because there's so much to gain without spending much time.

I won't argue about that because each his own.....my preference or opinion which is best for a beginner doesn't matter, although I would say Pokerstars is not a bad choice at all.
Though, although I still suck at the game and still playing mostly on Stars, I've found the value of having more accounts.
Let me put it another way....beginners starting at Stars, yes, I recommend to stick to that for a while, get to know the software, try to find out what games suit you etc.
Though, after a while widen your horizon because there's really much more for free or almost free.

I'm not trying to cheat my poker room with abusing free promotions for new players... I am more than happy to fund ps via the rake it gets from me. They will use it to make the site better and poker community as well. They will use the rake I pay them to fight boots and colluders with there unparalleled anti fraud playstyle analysis and customer service.
I played on 888 on an account in dec/jan that my dad set up with real cash overall I lost him $100 (80 deposit and 20 deposit) he was trying to prove to me that it's a bad career path. Unfortunately for him, I inherited his stubbornness and it didn't deter me in the slightest simply showed me that there really is a skill aspect to the game and that I can become the shark.
When you want to quit gambling until May/June this year, it would lock your account as agreed but then would email you promotions and deals, it even specialised in sending roulette promotions to roulette addicts blackjack to blackjack addicts and poker to poker addicts etc.
I am proud to say that it was the UK's branch of 888 that noticed this and snitched to the authorities. 888 had to pay millions in compensation. The vile site is corrupt I tell you but software is second only to ps.
If the second best site is that disgusting that shows how huge a gap there is to make ps number one.
PS not only locks your account even if you ask to get back in after you tell then you want to quit for X months (let's say three) but it even gives you links to therapy lines for most nations (some therapy lines work worldwide via internet) it gives you tried and tested tips and it's own customer service will message you via email to help you learn to not necessarily quit gambling but moderate it and see it in a healthier light.
You don't understand how noble and majestic a beast PS is because you only are in it for freeroll but guess what genius, ps not only offers the easiest way to set up freeroll (hence why daily here is a picture freeroll) but it's one of the o ly sites where you can immediately withdraw your freeroll winning to real cash. Other sites don't allow this as they say it can be money laundering but that's a blatant lie because there's an official record of how you won the cash and PS has the best security so that it makes sure the players in a freeroll are not rigging it in order to launder cash etc (it can tell if you are intentionally avoiding aggression between certain players via complex algorithm.

I struggle to see how using a promotion can be qualified as cheating. Every promotion is a subject for certain conditions and if a user satisfies these conditions then it's totally ok. And no conditions say that you must deposit regularly and stick to that poker room.
