Any tournament that has a soft field, good spots to pick up chips, is a favorite of mine :)

I have always loved the 9 player Sit&Go, No Limit Holdem tournaments.
No crazy about tourneys lasting more than an hour.

And also the Big Sunday tournies, cause I'm gonna bink one today

Playing bounty tournaments with a satellite ticket because playing accordingly can get your buy-in back plus some even without being ITM.

Don't play it often, but the Big $11 on stars is one of my favourites, as well as the Sunday Storm.
Pretty soft in the beginning, but not really the shovefests which you often see in lower buyins.
On a more regular base, I'like the $2,20 NL 2-7 SD on stars (plays twice a day) because of smaller fields with often a lot of familiar faces.
For me those are actually fun tournaments in which I try to win ofcourse but in which the social aspect plays a role.
Pretty often a lot of friendly chat with other players.
Also like them because it breaks the routine of just playing NLHE, which is why I sometimes also like to play some micro Omaha hi/lo and Courchevel hi/lo tournaments.

i prefer fields with less than 500 players and 11$ -33$ buy in.in that stakes there are a lot of weak players but also some talented.so you can enjoy the game and win a prize too

someday....when i take down the sunday million I will say it is my favorite tournament :D

In the meantime, got my eye on a super ko 100k gtd on stars (only noticed it last night in fact) that I may try and satty my way into. 320$ tournament, 1/2 bounty 1/2 prize pool, so take out 1 person and you got 150 bucks in your account, so a few of those if you have managed to satalite in for a decent price would be very sweet let alone the 100k being played for besides :D

I like this strategy, because even not getting into the money can warrant a nice reward.

My favorite tournament - Sunday Storm Sat: 1 + R FPP Hyper-Turbo [6-Max].
It was not long lasting (forty minutes) and has a nice prize (ticket for $ 11). I won it three times. And every time the tournament is exchanged for money.

I like Deep Stack tournaments with a decent guarantee that are NOT turbo events. Bovada has a couple that I like - if I have time to play them. They have a $1000 GTD DS tournament (I think it is every day). The buy-in is only $2.00, so it's a fun event with very little risk. They also have a $10 buy-in that has a $12,500 guarantee.

Unfortunately, it's rare that I can play the several hours that are required for those events. Most of the time I play SNGs, which fit into my schedule much better.

Not sure why, but Im really enjoying these atm.
The pays are ok when the field is smaller.

Proggresive knockout tournament, because the longer you play this tournament, more action and stress you will get
