There is more crazy play involved in bounty tourneys than regular ones. not every1 can handle that. Expect your allins called by literally any 2 cards, coz people are willing to get your bounty no matter what...

The play is crazier but it is fairer, because now it is not important if the field is big or small you just collect the small bounties and have fun.
In the past you had to compare the field sizes of such rewards freerolls.

Interesting this thread has been resurrected.

I would love some of the free rolls to become bounty free rolls again. I used to play them on a rival site who then decided to remove them. It was a contentious move as players loved the bounty free rolls ( the site actually said they did not care ultimately). Those free rolls were subscribed to and sold out in minutes but when they removed the bounties (and then threw attitude) the free roll engagment dropped off a cliff and have never quite recovered.

If pokerstars re-introduced them I am sure people would be really excited to play them.

I don't mind the bounty game but would prefer there to be a normal prize pool. How many times in a bounty game do you see a big stack come over the top to force the other players all in? There is no reward for playing good poker and trying to gradually outlast other players.

Aside from this I can't even qualify for this game. For some unknown reason pokerstars has made my points requirement stupidly high just for a blue chest so I've given up trying to complete.

I think its been this way for a while. This tourney ONLY pays bounties there are no prizes for finishing in any place in the money. Yet another way for poker stars to keep more money. Squeezing pennies here and there amounts to millions for them. They do it at every turn now. They even changed the DEAL wheel which used to have consolation prizes up to $5000 if you missed the jackpot to all $1000 slots.

Why do we think they do not tell you the bounty values in these freerolls as it is 100% on bounties? No idea how to value an opponent. But overall its a bit of fun.

Thinking though I prefer a regular style tourney and trying to run deep. Although the more turbo style a tourney is the easier it is to get some back with bounties.

But think you will do in this one as you have no idea of the bounty value and there is no regular prize pool so it is all bounties.

Its funny tournament, but will be better if half of the prizepool was regular and half for knockouts. Now you can finish 2nd and win nothing :/
