USA VS. CANADA Freerolls

i am 3 for 3 on these i cahsed in the limit holdem stud and no limit events.

i played 2 of the canadian freerolls..i played the limit holdem and the stud freerolls ...i never got to the next round in either but i did win 5$ in both ...it's a very veryy easy way to win money since the top 250 gets 5$ and there usually is only about 500 entry's

Blew it in the Holdem but made $5 in the Stud. Waiting till Thurs to play in the 10pm Canadian.

So far, I've cashed each week. I've placed in the top 100 each time, but never in the top 50
Right now, I'm in the last NLHE tournament for the week. 622 entrants, 284 remain, and I'm currently sitting in second place. Let's hope I can keep things rolling. I'll keep you guys updated.

1 hour and 25 minutes later, the tourney is complete. Finally finished in the top-50 It was not hard at all. Looking forward to round 2, maybe win that $20

I think I cashed in 1 or 2 of them, and made the 2nd round of the 6 handed hold em event.Why are they screwing the Americans by having the 2nd round on Sunday's during football.Normally I wouldn't care but it starts at 4pm and the Pats are on at 4:15 blah.

PLO, never played...but I'll give it a go. Only 1/3 so far after 6max suckout but am +$25 from stud. Be pretty nice to make it in every category, poor mans wcoop . Good luck.

Omaha is a totally different animal from NLHE.....think you get alot of suckouts on you in NLHE? Omaha is suckout heaven....do a little reading before you play....

I won $5 in the PLO last night. I played really really tight, sitting out most hands. I'd estimate that I played 5 hands, winning two and losing 3.

Towards the ends I let myself time out every hand to make sure I could make it. The two shorties on either side of me noticed what I was doing and started doing it too. The guy on my let ended up getting his $5 when he had only $80 chips left, with $1,000 BB's!

I'm terrible at Omaha, but that was easy money.

I busted around 600th in round 2

Ran into a lot of bad beats it was insane. And i also had two people with almost the exact same name ,differing by one letter, sitting at my table.. Was so sick. But good game. Good luck and good game to everyone that played in these.

Awesome - I wish I could say the same, but played horribly in the short handed hold'em game. But redeemed myself and made it to the money on Omaha - 3 out of 4 isn't too bad right? :smile:

Well, I'm in the 830 tourney tonight...I've cashed....right now on break.

45 of 84, I'm probably going to have to win at least one hand to make the top 50.

I'm now 4 for 4 with cashes in these tourneys....with a 20 dollar cash in the limit qualifier.

That's 40 bucks free!!!

In round 2 the blinds aren't quite as fast....but more people, so it's all a trade off. Just play a solid game and you should do alright in both.

Round 2 is a regular tournament (not turbo) against average competition. Its not like the first round weeded out the bad players. Only 10% cash $20 so the first round is a better value if half make $5. I cashed for $20. That's the only reason I don't hate myself for being 1/3 in these easy freerolls.

34 of 64, I can probably sit out now and make it...I won't sit out..but I probably won't play but a monster hand in the BB.
