Thanks for the information...

I'm trying to see which sites suit me best. I started first with Cake, then BetOnline. I was able to win a couple of dollars on both sites within the first few days. Not much, but I'm curious to see how far it will take me

I'm now going to download another site today and eventually I'll pick one to place a deposit in....for now

US Players

I have really enjoyed reading post that all of you have posted.
I have also tried some of the sites recommended.
Betonline, now thats a strange site. It constantly stalls and it seems odd but usually when u have a great hand, which is really annoying grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experience the same issues.
Keep the conversation going. BOL on the felt

Carbon is no longer accepting US players, and I'm having difficulty getting with Feltstars as well....

I have Cake, BetOnline, and bodog accounts, but I'm looking for other freeroll games to work on my game then to decide which site gets my first deposit

Any current news from Merge sites shutting out US players or any other US friendly sites would be appreciated

I seen a thread on another forum that pokerview.com is switching to merge network on sep. 13th. and all players as of the end of tonight including US players will be grandfathered into merge.

Its a chance for people who missed the sign up deadline for merge to now be accepted in. I think you can sign up untill 10pm tonight when the server switches over. Merge players have been depleting since they closed sign ups for new US players. This should be a nice boost in traffic. I have a feeling that merge is going to except new US players shortly despite the subjectpoker.com scare. I trust merge %100 that they will pay us when they do get shut down which is most likely going to happen eventually.. I dont see merge network ever jeopardizing their future like FT. They have been growing and growing and Im sure they want to keep it that way. If they did lose are money that would just look so fck** bad on them that they will never see another dime from anyone. Ive seen so many merge skin reps giving their word that players funds are safe and secure. Im not worried about it. Fck the DOJ.

I wouldn't recommend playing at betonline to anyone the software is still VERY buggy. They wouldn't give me the pay out i requested because i didn't make a deposit of $100. Why offer freerolls then? I don't see how a company can legally withhold someones money from them? This really seems like an illegal practice to me, and i see why a lot of poker sites aren't allowed to be played in the US, and I really hope this one gets shut down next. They should stick to sports betting and casino games.

Last week I saw on a SUV on I-75 that giant FTP stickers on it. I'm surprised he hasn't ripped those right off by now!!

I was thinking it depends on skin on Merge. Is it?

Seeking New Site That is U.S. Friendly

The river card drops and it never fails, they keep hitting one of their three outs on me on Bodog. Couple that with the fact that they are closing their doors to U.S. players in December I've decided that I need to find a new playground. What sites would you guys suggest that are friendly to U.S. players and have fast payouts? Thanks in advance.

Everleaf network (I play on Minted) has fast WU cashouts (1-2 days) and decent bank wire time lines (2-4 weeks). It's where I play most.

I also play on intertops (Cake) because they have their own payment processors and supposedly cash you out relatively quickly (have not cashed out yet myself).

Also Merge -- Lock, RPM are the ones usually recommended.

Yatahay -- True Poker and Doyles Room are still around though traffic is dwindling. But checks are coming within 2 weeks.

I've been lock since black friday. Just the free stuff because it seems like a pain in the butt to deposit and withdraw. I used to do the direct account thing on stars and liked that it just took it and put it back into my account without checks or any hoops to jump through. is the bank wire on everleaf similar to the one stars had? and is the 2-4 weeks for deposit, cashout, or both?

Only used echecks on Stars, so can't really say. Don't know what the time frame for depositing via wire is, but the 2-4 week time frame was to receive a cashout by wire.

I am getting my feet wet again and trying Carbon Poker just because initial feel of their skin was to my liking even though reviews complain they take too long to pay out (but at least they do payout - eh!) Starting to like it and now read the DOJ may be gunning for them next. Oh well - just playing freerolls and micro's so if run up a br it is all house money. Good luck.

US Poker Sites

I was unaware that Bodog will stop taking US players in December.
Does this mean that existing Bodog players will not be able to play there anymore?
Bodog was always one of my favorites even before black friday because of their great customer support.

New Poker Sites

I was on Players Only a few months ago and tried to make a deposit with my credit card just to see what deposit options were out there and it immediately took it. I'm not a fan of Players Only because they kept messing my account up, but that may be an option for you. I think they are on the Cake network.

I think the best one for the US players is Carbon Poker, they have good support and they always pay in the end.

I was thinking of signing up and trying Minted Poker(Everleaf Network).
Does anyone know the best place to sign up to get the best rakeback. I think they offer 40% and other offers.
