Hi all,

I finally qualified for the unibet Open Online in September 2021.
I'm curious if more Cardschat members will participate in this event or have participated in this event before.

Do you prefer early registration or late registration and why?
Do you have any tips for me regarding playing style?

I am very curious about your experiences and like to hear from you soon.

If i remember correctly then (atleast) one cardchatter has played that game before. Not going to give (double) guarantee on who it was (or may have been) but this individual probably didnt go too far there ...

Besides that ^ there's now 250€ bounty game in unibet first sunday every month - next game tomorrow. There it's probably bigger chance to see fellow cardchatters - i believe in july version there were 2 playing - although neither of them survived day 1 eventhough one of them did collect 1 bounty which was worth like 58€ or so ...

Please accept my congratulations! You've come an incredible journey! Unlike you, I have not yet managed to qualify (. I played twice in this tournament, the first time there was only pain. The second time I was lucky to get into the prize.
Tips: play tight and trust your opponents in most cases. Both tournaments were played from the very beginning. Be patient,
and stock up on something sedative). Have a good rest before the tournament, and take care of the Internet for force majeure.

Thank you both for taking the time to provide a substantive response, I appreciate that.

My preference is also to play the tournament from level 1. It is more comfortable for me to start with a lot of big blinds than to register late with only a few big blinds.

@Risto: yes I know the Supermoon tournament that was played yesterday. That seems like a nice tournament to play, but I have never qualified and also not enough cash to buy me in. Who knows if that will ever come.

Supermoon tickets are actually much easier to be upgraded into bigger value ones (or into real cash) than UO ones though ...
For example you can use 0.40,2,10€ Supermoon tickets on particular FLIP tournaments - key there is to join any of these flips 1 second before the start - this may be NOT the fairest way but why not to try it until still possible ...

Hi, I didn't know that 'trick' but I am sure that i will try it when I have another Supermoon Ticket. I hope I can win a ticket tomorrow in the Cardschat 100eu tournament so i can try it.

Finally found time today to try and get a €250 Supermoon ticket with a €50 Supermoon ticket buy. Only after an hour of playing my Unibet application also crashed so that I can no longer play due to a mega malfunction at Unibet! I hope they will refund our buy in because this feels very unfair!

In that case you'd probably use unibet rep's thread here to let him know that ...
