I played in my first live poker SnG yesterday at a local Casino.
I got busted all-in preflop 99 < K9, but thats a different story.

I was wondering if and how much you guys tip the dealer?
Because I got busted in the bubble, I kinda stormed off and left, but is there a standard whether you win or lose?

I certainly don't know the protocol in the States for losing a STT, I certainly wouldnt tip for bubbling or not cashing.

If I won here in ireland, I tipped €50 for a €4K cash (which is probably pretty standard/shitty depending who you listen to), but for a smaller cash I will usually go 5-10% up to a max of €50.

We don't tip casino dealers here, but I know a lot of places that do take a portion out of the tournament fee for dealer tips since tipping is a bit hard in tournament format: do you tip the final table dealer if you win, even though you had dozens of different dealers throughout the game? I gather that's why some places just include a tip from all players in the tournament fee - obviously it might be different for a SnG where you might only have one dealer, probably best to check with the casino you're playing in to see how they handle it.

Even if that's not the case though, I don't think you're expected to tip in a tournament where you didn't cash - though I'm sure the dealer would appreciate it if you wanted to do it :)
