Sounds Effects on Full Tilt

I click all sounds off.
All animation off.
All avitars off.

I do all but the third one. Avatars dont really bug me that much but I usually listen to music while I play poker, so the random noises in the middle of a song can get kinda annoying. I havent had the sounds on in forever but I remember the fifteen second sound and thats about it, but squeaky styrophome? Didnt know styrophoam could be squeaky

Wow - I must really be in the minority. I liked their sound effects enough that I used them to replace the standard ones on Stars as well. I don't think there was a single sample in the original Stars set that I kept, I even replaced the warning / attention tones.

I've never played any sites other than FT and Stars so I can't comment on them, but I have spent plenty of time in live card rooms and for me poker's not poker without the noise of cards and chips. I've always thought FT's sound effects were pretty close to the real thing, minus the incessant chip-shuffling clatter you get in live rooms.

As for the questions about sound effects for when you win a pot or go all in (if they were serious - I'm assuming not but whatever) yes, you could do that but most of the sound bites are used in multiple places and in particular they're the same for every player at the table, so you couldn't get them to play only when you shove or win a pot

UB has this extraordinary loud beep when your time is running short - scared the BeJesus out of me - finally turned it off (what took me so long?). Generally, I like the sound effects but have to have them turned down a bit to put them in the background.

what, u wanna be able to customize the sounds? U want to hear the Kool Aid guy say “oooh yeah” when u take down a pot? lolol

I just turn em off or just have the warnings on if im multitabling.

Yeah I agree with dmorris68 and the rest of ya with ubs sounds, especially the raise-horrible.

Ohhh by the way, I think I just saw a tumbleweed go by on ubs webpage and login screen. Lolol.

Yeah. UB doesn't have many MTT that I like to play anymore - came close to removing the software a few times. What happened over there? Corruption?

For example: "Call", "Fold" etc.

I like the sounds on Fulltilt. I'd never turn the avatars off either (although I use 'racetrack' them for the tables). There's something to be said for player's choice of avatars on that site (not always.. but sometimes they help to reflect just a little bit of the person's character/personality which tends to lead to particular playing styles... << not always accurate or reliable.. but.. there's a few that for me I've found are pretty much always right in line with my assessment)

Can you elaborate that statement a little bit?Add some examples?What would the cowboy mostly be, the sports guy, the stupid surfer, the wizard etc...according to what you found out in general.so not saying u're right here but just interested in your opinion.

I managed to find by myself.
There is a site that called HostilePoker that have these voices.
There is a male and female voices.
