But sometimes your ego orders you to show the AA or KK or the vgh you had... Its so hard to say no to your ego

I tried this theory, and in a few games, everytime I had an excellent hand, I showed it. You know what happened? If I bet 'seriously' they all folded - All the time!!!

Then again, you keep being switched to other tables where no one knows you, so it doesn't really matter if you show or not... no one is going to "know" you due to a couple of hands from which you have shown one or two good hands (or a bluff...)

SOMETIMES SHOWING CAN BE BAD. I SHOWED A PAIR OF DUECES ONCE AND I HAD LIMPED IN AND SOMEONE RAISED 3X BB AND I GOT A SET. THE PLAYERS BEGAN CALLING ALL MY RAISES AFTER THAT. ONE PLAYER SAID I WILL CALL ALL YOUR RAISES CAUSE YOU PLAYED DUECES AND BEAT MY ACES. LOL. IT PUT HIM ON MAJOR TILT. SHOWING GIVES AWAY INFORMATION, LIKE THE RANGE OF HANDS YOU ARE WILLING TO PLAY. TOO MUCH INFO CAN RUIN YOUR TABLE IMAGE. X

I never show my cards, but if someone asks, I'll usually tell them. If they believe me or not is up to them.
