Evening folks.
Last night when I got out of work I decided to take my weekly poker buy in over to the casino and see if maybe I can turn a profit.
I mainly play at the dog track, which is closer but hadn't been to Seminole and wanted to check it out.
My oh my... The fish. First, I was upset as they didn't have a $1/$2 table at that time of night (1:00 AMish) so all they had was a $2/$5 NLHE... Didn't even have a PL game going.
So I sat down anyways since I bothered to drive an hour and a half so damn it, let's play some cards. Buy-In is $100.
7 hours later I walked away up $470. I couldn't believe the sheer amount of donkery present at both tables.
The old seniors I play during the Early Bird High Hand hours at the track play better than these morons. Two full tables of absolute stupidity.
When I first walked in there was a big on the flop all in between 4-5 players. 3k pot.
In the lead was the nut trips on the rag board.
What one was the idiot with all his chips in the middle with 3 to a wheel straight and caught runner runner to take it.
In other words, if you find yourself visiting relatives in the SW Florida area and would want to make a few easy bucks, definitely worth checking out as the sucker to player ratio will definitely be in your favor.
Patience will be needed as you're dealing with college kids pissing away through Mom and Dads money that are either Cowboys or calling stations. Just need to get your money in there with the best of them.
