Hello readers. today i have made a vow: i will never play again in my life on pokerstars. first of all, they don't have rake there. second and most outrageous: they really allow RACISM there. i have been playing on pokerstars since 2010 and i have been a victim countless times. the "problem", the BIG "problem" is that i am a Romanian.yes, indeed it is a problem nowadays. players from all the countries in Europe called me "GIPSY"! why? every country in the world have gipsyes, Italy, beautiful U.K., U.S.A., France, Germany, and many other countries. but they are not romanian gipsy, are their own.

i do appreciate a lot all of your comments friends but it's abvious that most of you didn't get it right! i wasn't upset because pokerstars don't have a way to block automaticly the curses, it is really imposibile! i am not racist. what i wanted to say it was one other thing. after you are beeing called a gipsy or any other racist thing, and you call the moderator, they don't punish that, just advise the players to chat "friendly", which, of course, is not possible sometimes when you lose big stacks, but, after they leave and, the racist target continues to laugh and make the same remarks, you call again the moderator and he tells you to block the chat. ok, then what? you are angry as hell and blow up with some remarks of your own because maybe you are a little sensitive about some things, the he calls the moderator and you get punished in matter of seconds with 1 week of muted chat. lol. gipsyes are humans, chinese are humans, every single homo sapiens sapiens is a human! making remarks about their origins or geographical position isn't racism?! why did i said that PS is racist? because words like "gipsy" are not punished. sexual orientation, colour, ethnic origins, religious states, are just choices or states of fact by birth or by geographicalpostion in this crazy world! when you call a man "gay" you don't discriminate him, it's just a choice underlined. when you call a man "gipsy" is a characterization with a negative subliminal message.

you get it wrong somehow. i wasn't the one calling a gipsy "low life"!! please read more careful. the characterization as a "gipsy", to whatever nationality individual means something, has a subliminal message, like they would be some kind of terrible animals who live wrong, do wrong, means wrong. get it now? there are in my country, as in any other country, a lot of them, i have a lot of them as friends, i do not see in them some kind os a specie or martian creatures. the SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE of calling someone a Gipsy is the big mistake. you call him criminal, rapist or whatever, pedophile or whatever, but by calling someone a gipsy in a specific context, is wrong. most of you didn't get it. and about the gays: ok, is a sexual choice, not a characterization. This was an interesting thread and fun read. I think u are lucky to be able to play on stars , in the first place, unlike the rest of us Americans.I agree with everyone else that said, just block the chat and be done with it. Good luck.

Alright dude. Try this, please! Type what you want to put into a thread here into microsoft word or some other word editor first, and write it in your own language. Then, and here is the trick, translate it into english! Almost any word editor can do this. Also, when you write something in this box, notice the little red squiggly lines under some of your words: this means you have misspelled a word. Hover the mouse cursor over the word with the little squiggly line under it, right click, and at the top it will offer you the correct spelling. Then, simply select that corrected spelling from that menu that pops up, and presto!
appologize becomes apologize, gramathical becomes grammatical! It's that simple.

As an American I have played on revolution, winning, and merge networks and still haven't found a "call chat moderator" button like the one on pokerstars. My only advice is to suck it up sunshine, as long as you are on the internet there will be people who think they are tough behind their screen.

Being a Texan who now lives in germany, I find it hilarious when I get called "Hitler" or "nazi" which happens more than I would have thought.
I reply "better a nazi than white trash redneck". Sadly, only I get the joke.
I always leave chat on cause it gives a lot of info at times. Ppls chat does not affect my playing at all tilt wise.
