Interesting discussion. I have read more than a few accounts of people who have started doing really well after leaving pokerstars. I am playing a little more at GG Poker, Run It Once, and ACR. I wish Party would open up to the Panama market but if it were going to happen it would have by now.

Exactly, they thrive on turnover just like any other gambling organisation.
I'm slowly quitting all sites I have winnings on, and spending the money.
The only site I'm going to leave money on is ACR. I believe their dealer software gives all players a fair chance, and skill will make money, which is the main objective most people play for.

I think you will still return to Pokerstars, as I did in my time. The pokerstars bonus program is worse all the time, but most people play there. partypoker has not reached the level of Pokerstars, and it will not be soon!

i will play with my last dollars there and move to partypoker , i had this exclusive challenge to collect 5000 redemption points and earn 400 dollars , i will need to spend 12 500 dollars !!!!! to collect those points and earn the 400 dollars , its really ridiculous + the worthless chests that give you few cents. i hope many other players will quit pokerstars and stop supporting them and support party poker to make it dethrone pokerstars that stopped caring about their players. rakeback here i come

I don't open the chests or start the challenges any more. But, I will stay with Pokerstars.

My advice to everyone: do not pay much attention to all kinds of chests and other small handouts of poker stars, play what you like
leave or stay in pokerstar - decide for yourself

Is PartyPokers loyalty sheme really that much better ?

Better to work on your game and get the profit from the tables
not the loyalty shemes... Then the 400 bucks are a nice topping on
an already very tasty cake !

If you can join Party via a great rakeback offer then it might be a good idea to swith the room to have more profit in the long run. But if you are on the loyalty sheme that everybody gets the PP will probably not be that much better... I am pretty sure that Party also wants to make money...

There just isn't a charity poker room with 200% rakeback for all

Can't play there for real money. One thing about Poker Stars though is they're highly regulated so you can be sure they're legit with their software dealing software. You may not like the way bonuses work but take it up with them that's how change works not trying to get people to boycott just sayin
