Hi All. I have an issue for which I
Am quite frustrated and I would like your comments/similar experience. I won 30k in sports and on 04.01 I made a withdrawal request from pokerstars. They requested confirmation documents which I submitted immediately and since then I have not received any payment, not even any feedback. I have sent numerous emails/messages through their automated system asking for some advise but only once I was able to get a live chat which actually did not assist at all. They just said that my request is under review and they shall contact me ASAP. But really, when is this ASAP going to be? I have sent another message thereafter but still no response. I know that there is a 72h Processing time but we are in the 11 day and counting.
It really frustrates me because the amount is huge and I am being totally ignored by Pokerstars. They still don’t reply, not even give me the option for live chat.
First of all, did anyone have a similar experience and what did actually happened? I have seen some posts in the past which discouraged me even more.
Secondly, why to choose such a bit Platform like Pokerstars if our money is not actually secure?

Before to make any deposit to the Poker room I am a verifying my account in advance and double checking with support to be sure and to avoid any problem with withdrawal in the future. Only after verification I depose and play. With poker stars I do not have any problem with that, even now it takes about 20-30 min for me to get the money. In your case, as I understood, you started to verifying just after withdrawal process, so it takes a time maybe up to 2-3 weeks. Just be patient and do not try to send mails after mails cause they will put you at the end of the turn. Once everything is ok, the next your withdrawals proceeds quicker.

Just be patient while they get your account verified, they cutback on staff so everything is taking longer than it used to.

For now just relax and think about something nice you can get yourself with some of your winnings, providing that you have not broken any terms and conditions of owning an account.

I had already verified my account... They requested extra documents the minute I made the withdrawal...

Its not too surprising that this happened because its your first withdrawal. It should be much easier in the future.

You are trying to withdraw a fairly substantial amount of money. This is presumably why, some extra security is in place to secure no money laundering or other illegal activities are going on. And yes this can take some time. 72h is for a standard withdrawal, where nothing needs to be reviewed or verified.

with pokerstars nowadays, be prepared to wait for weeks. if you stress them with multiple emails its going to take even longer. thats how they care for their customers in 2021.

Before withdrawal request You have to verify Your account to avoid deep checking and possible revocation of the account because it is not a small amount to withdraw

Having issues withdrawing $18,000 CAD

I am having a similar issue I had previously verified my account through my drivers license and utility bills I have made many deposits and many withdrawals with no issue whatsoever until I had a big win a few days ago in their casino - they now want to see my bank statement which is completely fine the only issue is the bank account that I have associated with my STARS account is a joint account with my husband and for some reason only his name appears on our statements though I am a joint account holder...I contacted the bank immediately and they corrected this to ensure my name is shown on the next statement.. they sent me a void cheque direct deposit form the original statement that we both signed when the joint account was opened all of which Shows my name my address and my account number but stars still would not except any of this so now I am at the mercy of my bank for an administrative error that they had made on their part I use my Scotiabank mobile banking App (canada) so I never downloaded bank statements in the past as all of my transactions are shown on my account page so never realized my name was not appearing on the statements. I have sent proof that it is my account as well but they want the actual statement so now I wait until the end of the month when it is issued - luckily it will be dated several days before I won But still concerns me that they are holding my money hostage

so, 1st of all, reading something similar from very new members with only 1-2 post, and complaining about PokerStars without any screenshots and proof that you have/had those issues with, I am thinking thats completely bullcrap.

I am on pokerstars for years, and never had issue with.
My deposit and withdrawals take less than few hrs to get money in or to withdraw to neteller or such.

Even when my account got hacked, they responded immediately and froze account, checked, got my money back to the account, and behaved very profesionally and fixed the issue right away.

What is point to create account and complain about one of the biggest poker site in the world, and never provide any proof of the "I won $$$$$ but they hold my money hostage...." etc... and so on and so on.

Usually, its almost always something that you made it wrong, without depositing and making contact with them, or you didn't follow their rules, and shoot yourself in a foot.

And, I am not affiliated with PokerStars in any way shape or form.
Just my experience with.

Not trying to bash them at all as I have never had any issues with them in the past and know they are just doing their due diligence to verify my bank account. I am more frustrated with my bank if anything. I’m not about to post all of my correspondence with stars on here as it contains a lot of my personal banking info but I’m confident that once I am able to submit them the correct documents that I will be paid and the issue will be resolved. I will update once everything is sorted out :)
