I was surprised why I couldn't join any SNGs or tournaments this afternoon when I then received the message of the update.

I also believe it's more than 2 hours so far but they say "usually". So it takes as long as it takes. Time to enjoy other things in life

Its a scheduled server maintenance. They do this every few month and always announce it in advance. Supposedly the times quoted by Beras91 are CET, and in that case the site should be up and running again in around 40 minutes

This very well could be happening for Ontarians since the last I read (about PokerStars regulation to Ontario) we would have access to PokerStars at least till SCOOP was finished.

I think the message we get about 120 min is a automatic message which comes with all updates. But yesterday it was clearly in the lobby that it would take longer today. And thats why pokerstars would be down for around 7 hours

The 120 min. banner isn't accurate. I was playing at the time when the site went down for maintenance (it was scheduled to be down at 02:55 my time (PT = CET-7 I believe... could be -8?) But the tables actually began closing at 02:48. It is now 10:52 (PT). They've been down for 8hrs. already (I believe it was initially scheduled to be down for 3hrs. on the message that was released last night, prior to it going down)

Yes I also seen this in the lobby to but cant remember seeing it saying seven hours, I tried to log in around 1;30PM UK time it's 7;34PM now so it should be up in no time now an hour we should be good I hope
