So in the last months I didn't have a lot of patience to play tournaments and I was just playing Spin&Go to unwind and disconnect from day to day stress since it was the only format I could really concentrate in.
I played a lot of them but I don't really remember getting a prize higher than around 10 times the buy-in amount. For example last night I must have played around 30 games on the $2 buy-in and except for one instance when the prize was $10, I only got a lot of $4 prizes and some $6.
Are those potential high-payouts in the tens of thousands just a way to attract suckers and they never come up or did any of you actually play in a game with a high prize (i.e. in the thousands)?
I never expected to play in a game with the maximum jack-pot but you would think that after months of playing you would at least get some jack-pots in the hundreds from time to time.
What's your experience with this format? Did anyone actually keep track of the jackpots they offer to see how much the house rakes from you? I'm starting to get the feeling it's a lot more than on any other format.
