Yea not playing $11 for same reason, late starting time and I have college tomorrow.

Isildur is running sick deep in $530+R. If I was him I'd just feel so awesome every time I regged for tourney and saw my available balance.

Well that was shit, out first round. Every light 3-bet got 4-bet and every value 3-bet he folded. Every board I played back on he managed to catch. I played 70 hands and didn't one have better than top pair with average kicker J9 on J2238 board. big hand and final hand:

river sucks so bad, I was pretty sure I had him

Just had a quick look through HH re player Jonny and you need to call more OOP, also look for chance to jam the BB over his raise, you can do this pretty wide and he won't call wide enough to make it unprofitable.

I'm raise/calling flop. As played I'm checking back river. I think you're trying to target too small a part of his range when you bluff.

Also that 67s hand 3-bet shoving is going to be better than calling.

I'm always a bit uncomfortable playing suited connectors and such OOP in a 3-bet pot. I always feel like if I hit, I can play it well, obv, but if not, I've bloated the pot and feel the need to take the betting lead. If I flat, my range feels so much wider and it's disguised when I miss. Obv, with his hand, I would have got a fold, but I felt like I was 3betting quite wide, hence why he 4-bet shoved me with A6 with quite a bit left.

Obv never getting away with AKs v AA 25bbs deep, felt like I held my own v an obviously decent player.

But you hadn't 3-bet shoved yet which means that he will fold a decent amount. From the HH replayer I thought it looked like you were relatively tight from the BB, whereas you should be calling more. I did the maths before and jamming 67s in that spot is optimal.

TBH, I genuinely think I was getting pretty poor hands from the button, usually I'm opening close to 100%. Maybe I'm wrong.

So, I just jumped in the $11. Decent start, up to 5,500 despite having to fold a set second hand in. Anyone else in?
