ok so im able to give a better detailed response on how i feel about this new schedule now after putting in a full session yesterday.
with the old session i was finding myself investing between $450-$500 per day in games with a buy in ranging from $1-$5.50, yesterday during the same hours i would usually play i played nearly every game between $1-$5.50 and could only get to about $350 invested and there would be alot of the schedule i played yesterday that i would totally drop from the schedule due to the prizes not being worth the time and effort, for future sessions i can see myself barely spending around $270 a day, basically the micro grinders games are ruined for good so alot of my business will be going elsewhere (still undecided on where but i'm thinking
partypoker from what im reading about the site)
now onto the playability of the games.... i found the HOTs to have a better structure with the 4 min blinds for the 1st X levels but to make up for that they added in a few levels so it plays out slightly better i felt. the hyper turbo games were very similar with a few extra blind levels added giving players more time to play as opposed to constant shoving, although they only offer 6 max hypers now. now i dont mind 6 max mtts to be honest but when you are mass multi-tabling it makes it harder to add in 6 max games as they require more observation.
the bounty builders were very fast at the start but as the game got deeper it leveled out and the deeper it got the better the game got i felt, although an extra minute to each of the blind levels would probably completely fix that structure.
the bigs were probably by far the worst structures around. it played out very close to a turbo with the occasional player on every table constantly clocking, they need fixing back to the old system ASAP.
the mixed game schedule was an absolute disgrace. all omaha hi lo games were 6 max with 8 min blinds throughout, a "regular speed" 8 game now has 4 min blinds which they might as well call a turbo now, you barely get to see 2
hands per blind level now.
the time bombs were great as they were, really not sure why they've doubled the start stack at the same time as doubling the start stack, it literally makes no sense to me whatsoever.
supposedly there are adjustments being made to the schedule starting from monday so for the time being i'm going to a little holiday, do stuff around the house and enjoy some free time before checking out the schedule and taking it from there.
for the record i believe i adjusted alot better to the structures than most of the other players and managed to squeeze out a $80-$90 profit over the session without going too deep in any of the games so there is still potential to win but i do feel some of the structures need changing ASAP and some freezeouts need to be added throughout the schedule
